The data tables available through this link are structured by geography, and then by classification system. Within each classification system, the data is further broken down into category within the classification system and then year.
The levels of geography are:
Province/Census Division, Census Agglomeration/Census Metropolitan Area, Province/Census Subdivision, Province/Canada, Census Division/Census Subdivision (2005-2008 only).
The industry classification systems are:
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Tables, and
The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Tables. (Note: SIC tables no longer available as of June 2005.)The categories within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Table are:
Sectors, Sub-sectors, Industry Groups, National Industries
The categories within the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Tables are:Divisions, Major Groups, Industry Groups, and National Industries.
