The standard 2001 Census data products available from this site
are viewed using the Beyond 20/20 data browser by Ivation.
This software must be installed prior to selecting tables from the following
series: Profiles, Topic-based Tabulations, the Census of Agriculture, and Special Interest Cross-Tabulations.
The 2001 Topic-based Tabulations replace The Nation, Dimensions, and the Basic Summary
Tables series previously produced. Tables that require the Beyond 20/20 data browser software
are identified by this icon:

The use of these data is restricted to University of Alberta faculty, students, and staff.
Getting started
The Beyond 20/20 software may be downloaded for Windows 98/2000/XP.
Further Census Information
The Geographic files from the Census are also available. Until Web access is in place, these files are retrievable only by visiting the Data Library (1-108 Rutherford North).
The Public Use Microdata Files for individuals, families, and households will be released during 2004.
