The University of Alberta Research Data Centre offers researchers secure access to detailed microdata from population and household surveys, censuses and administrative files. The Canadian Research Data Center Network (CRDCN) has a catagorised listing of the data avaliable in the RDC including census and administrative data.

Data Security

The University of Alberta Research Data Centre operate in accordance with the confidentiality provisions of the Statistics Act and is accessible only to researchers with approved projects and security clearance. The data can only be accessed within the Research Data Centre and results must first be vetted by the Analyst before they can be removed.
